The EU Referendum

Dorrit Moussaieff skrifar

For the first twelve years of my life, I lived in Jerusalem. I spent my days in the souk or with my father in the shop where I learned to negotiate. I learned very early that everything to do with commerce or finance is negotiable. You begin by asking for 100% of what you want.

Not negotiating means losing before you start.

We make a list of what we want plus more. Start with Hands off !! our water, energy, and fishing. It is the best in the world and for all Icelanders to share. We will sell to the highest bidder if there is any leftover. What do we have to lose by taking.

The EU needs us. One could more than we need them. So let us listen and see what is offered. Then we can make our own demands. , if all of our requirements are met, we will make a decision.

We must learn from the UK's mistakes.

Höfundur er fyrrverandi forsetafrú Íslands.
