Christopher Nolan hlaut verðlaunin fyrir bestu leikstjórn og Cillian Murphy var valinn besti karlleikari í aðalhlutverki og þá skaut Robert Downey Jr. mönnum á borð við Robert De Niro og Ryan Gosling ref fyrir rass og tók styttuna fyrir karlleikara í aukahlutverki.

Emma Stone hlaut verðlaunin fyrir bestu leikkona í aðalhlutverki fyrir Poor Things og Da'Vine Joy Randolph var verðlaunuð sem besta leikkona í aukahlutverki fyrir The Holdovers.

Þá unnu Billie Eilish og bróðir hennar Finneas verðlaunin fyrir besta upprunalega lagið fyrir What Was I Made For? úr myndinni Barbie. Þetta er í annað sinn sem systkinin vinna til Óskarsverðlauna en þau unnu einnig fyrir Bond-lagið No Time to Die.

Helfarar-myndin The Zone of Interest var valin besta erlenda myndin og 20 Days in Mauripol, um innrás Rússa í Úkraínu, besta heimildarmyndin.

Aðstandendur verðlaunamynda á borð við Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro og Past Lives fóru tómhentir heim.

Jimmy Kimmel var kynnir kvöldsins og skaut meðal annars á Donald Trump, sem hafði krafist þess að hann yrði settur af sem kynnir. „Er ekki komið fram yfir fangelsistímann þinn?“ sagði Kimmel.
