Impeccable French Taste

When Franco-Icelandic couple Olivier Bremond and his wife Þórdís Anspach moved to Reykjavík from Paris, they decided to bring something distinctly French with them. Kisan (the cat) on Laugavegur has to be the most beautiful shop in the city.

 Its reminiscent of a mini-Colette with its wide selection of wonderful bits of everything: youll find everything from Bonpoint childrens clothing to perfumes and candles by Anick Goutal, to Vitra shelves, Eames furniture, a fabulous selection of photographic books, classic childrens toys, designer bags and accessories and even rare DVDs and CDs.

A testimony to its owners impeccable taste, Kisan has gained plenty of fans overseas, and the couple aim to branch out in New York next winter. Definitely a space to watch. - amb
