1% Unemployment

Unemployment was one percent in all of Iceland in October according to numbers from Directorate of Labour. Unemployment has not been lower since the year 2000. About 1.645 people were unemployed last month; estimated workforce in Iceland is 159.726 people. The job situation usually gets worse in October and November, unemployment is expected to rise to 1, 3% in November.
