The newspaper is built on the same concept as Fréttablaðið in Iceland. Many Danish politicians are willing to reconsider their support for traditional Danish newspapers according to Visir.is. In an interview with Jyllands-Posten, member of parliament Carina Christiensen, suggests a conference where politicians and publishers meet and discuss the situation. Congressman Jens Rhode is also worried about the effects the new freepaper will have and predicts a battlefield on the Danish media market.
